The plug filled 100TH POST!!

My mind is blown that I have reached 100 posts! This is crazy to me, and from the bottom of my heart I want to thank everyone who has given content, inspired, read, shared, and supported this and the websites 2099 One Cross St was born from. We may not have the hugest audience, but it has become something I really love doing and I love seeing people enjoy and respond to it. My prayer and hope as always is that the Lord will use this site to reach you, teach you, and bless you. I’m excited to see it growing, and y’all are a part of that. So again, from the bottom of my heart: thank you big time.

Today’s post is going to be short plug-centric one. As I write this, I’m editing an upcoming episode of One Cross Radio which I can’t wait to share. Unrelatedly, praise be to God, I got my G2 yesterday son!! I’m feeling under the weather again but cannot stop praising Him for His goodness.

Onto the (short and plug-centric) post:

As always, I cannot recommend checking out Cameron Butryn’s website enough. It’s been awhile since he updated it, but Cam brought a great perspective and it is filled with wonderful stuff.

If you’re a Star Wars fan and want to learn more about the franchise (both current cannon content and legends/former expanded universe) not through Wookiepedia, then The Stupendous Wave channel on youtube is a great thing to check out. I liken it to a Star Wars-centric ComicsExplained – it has solid content and a lot of it. Hit it up.

If you’re a Lord of the Rings fan, you should hit up the biweekly/fortnightly Tolkien-centric An Unexpected Podcast – which features news on the show, the upcoming Tolkien biopic, and rereading of the books. I really enjoy listening to this, and you might too! Worth a listen.

Next up we got The Chopping Block – a series of excellent discussions and some q&a’s from a group of Lampmode artists (including Shai Linne, God’s Servant, S.O., and others). They talk about things ranging from homosexuality to spiritual gifts to reformed theology. It’s something I find very thought-provoking and biblically solid. If you can, you should hit it up.

And finally, I’ll end this with the fantastic late-80s-early-90s sunday school staple that was McGee and Me. It’s just so good. I’ll fully admit that it’s probably the nostalgia talking, but they are fun, and has some good stuff.

Hope you all enjoyed the above stuff. If there’s something you think I should check out, let me know in the comments! I love finding/re-discovering stuff.

Thanks for reading, and thanks for supporting. God bless my friends!
